Problem in at gear

I have dodge interpid 1996, 3.5 L my problem I turn car ignition on the gear shift indicator lamp(prndL) is ok but when I put the gear shift lever in (d) position the gear shift indicator on dashboard illuminates all at once then individually please solve my problem

But the car drives properly? The transmission shifts properly into the desired gears? Remove the dash bezel and check the PRNDL indicator. Something is probably loose, allowing the bulb(s) to shine through all of the indicator letters.
