What makes an engine coil hold the fire or keep it from leaving the coil and cracks it.

The mechanic says all Dodge Chrysler products have very bad wiring and shortages in the wiring. The wiring sends a lot of vehicles to the junkyard.

Hold the fire or keep it from leaving? Your mechanic sounds lazy. The only Chrysler product I had wiring problems with was a 65 Charger that had sat for more than 20 years without being touched. Except by mice and rats.
