When I was driving my mom's car I came to a red light and was making a left hand turn. I had let off the gas to slow down to make the turn. When I gave it gas the car kinda sputtered and I let off the gas again. When I went to go the car will not come out of second gear. Got it home and with the car cold I checked to EATX relay when I pull the relays and test drive it will shift from first to second and when it goes to third it seems to slip. When you let off the gas it goes back to limp mode.

This could be a number of things. However, let's check for codes and see if they will point us in the correct direction. If you can't pull codes, then let's stop by a parts store and they will do it free of charge.

This could just be a sensor issue but there is a chance due to the slipping that we have internal transmission issues. However, everything is a guess at this point until we check for codes.

In the even there are no codes, then we need to check the level and condition of the fluid. This needs to be good before we get too far. Thanks
