How can a water pump be replaced?

Disconnect battery, drain coolant, loosen water pump pully bolts, remove serpentine belt, remove pully bolts and pully, note locater tab on water pump for installation reference, remove bolts and water pump and gasket, clean mounting service and install new water pump making sure locater tab is vertically.
