REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove drive belt. Remove nut retaining positive battery cable to
generator BAT terminal. Disconnect generator electrical connector. Remove mounting bolts, nuts,
braces and brackets. Remove other components as necessary. Remove generator. To install, reverse
removal procedure.
OVERHAUL

WARNING: When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory
systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist
until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See
COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in GENERAL
INFORMATION before disconnecting battery.
NOTE:
The CS130 generator is serviced by replacement only.
