I just bought a1996 Cadillac Deville it has been sitting for 2 years do I have to run a drive cycle before I take it to emissions?

Why do you have to do a drive cycle? Do you have a check engine light if so you have to fix it before you go there

No the check engine light is not on but the battery has been disconnected.

Battery disconnected means yes, you will have to go through a drive cycle.
