1996 acura tl Distributor cap

Hi there, I have a 1996 acura tl 2.5 I'm having a problem to remove my distributor cap I already remove the srews but it wont come out, there is no space between the wall and the head cap so if you can please tell me if there is something else that I need to remove so I remove the distrubutor cap

remove the valve cover it will give you enough room

I did remove valve cover but still there is not enough room

It's best just to remove the distributor, there is no wiring. There are 2 12mm headed bolts, there's not much room for the pass side bolt. The other side is easy, it's on top just below the valve cover. I used a deep offset boxend for the hard one. The heat shield makes it hard.

Thanks, I drive a 96 TL 2.5, those G series engines are pretty rare. Just the Vigor and early TLs had them. I got it dirt cheap needing an expensive Harmonic Balancer. But they make enough power for me. My boy racer days are over. Please notify me if any questions about them pop up. Good site!
