My truck will only go forward even when shifted in reverse. How can I fix it.

First, make sure the linkage is connected properly and working. If it is, chances are the low reverse clutch pack retaining clip has broken. Thus, it allows the vehicle to try to go forward all the time. With only 20K on the vehicle, I feel it is related to the linkage.
