1995 Subaru Legacy Collision - worth repairing

This has been an excellent car; I kept up with maintenance. Ran into the hitch of big pick up truck, trashed the front end. My mechanic states they first need a body shop to pull the frame away from the radiator and will assess from there. Their guess is over $2,000. It has 241,000 miles, but runs great. I just use it in town and to drive up to the ski hill 20 mi. Away. Best bet is to fix it? Don't think I can buy as dependable of a car for $2K. What is your opinion.
