If the MIL is indicating, get a scan done to check for trouble codes.

Is difficult starting only when cold, when hot or at all times? Rough idling could be due to many things such spark plugs, engine condition, fuel pressure faulty sensors etc so checking for trouble codes would be the first step you need to do.
