MY CAR, A 1995 OLDS CIERA, 4 CYL, SHAKES AND KNOCKS WHEN IT IS FIRST STARTED AND IS COLD, THEN IT'S OK. THE SPARK PLUGS ARE NEW, IT WAS TUNED UP 9 MONTHS AGO. IT DOES NOT HAPPEN WHEN IT'S WARM. WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Make sure the oil is clean and full and you are using the proper oil weight. Also, pay attention to see if there is any smoke from the exhaust that could indicate a rich fuel mixture, headgasket issue.
