Seems the engine is dying of old age and a rebuild is due. Have you checked the spark plugs condition?

No ill try that but I think the engine is gone. Do you know about how much a rebuild costs?

Rebuilds ranges from 2 to 4 k depending on what has to be rreplaced and where you are located. It is best to enquire locally to get an accurate quotation.
