I have a 5.7 V-8 feul injection and I'm going to swap to a 5.7 carbureted. It also has an electric transmission 4l60e, do I need to get an electronic kickdown for it or can the carburetor work the way it is?

If you do that the 4l60e will need a computer to run it also your fuel pump is tomjuch pressure for a carb engine, you are better off leaving it the way it is and just swapping motors and hooking up all your current stuff if your engine is bad. However it must be the same type head so the intakes will bolt up correctly as they were changed form earlier models.
