CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON?

LAST TIME YOU PERFORMED A FULL TUNE-UP?

KEEPING UP WITH SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE AS OUTLINED IN A MANUAL (LIKE A CHILTON OR HAYNES, REPAIR MANUAL)?. OWNERS MANUAL MAY NOT GO IN DEPTH ENOUGH

JUST A REAL GOOD "GOING OVER" MIGHT REVEAL SOMETHING UNPLUGGED, A CRACKED OR VACUUM LINE, OR ONE JUST PULLED LOOSE.

ONE MUST ALSO REMEMBER THE VEHICLE MAY NOT OPERATE "FULL PEAK" EFFICIENCY, UNTIL IT WARMS UP TO NORMAL OPERATING TEMPERATURE AND ALL SENSORS ARE ONLINE. RUNS CLOSED LOOP AT START (RUNNING ON FACTORY PRESET VALUES). THEN OPEN LOOP WHEN ALL SENSORS PROVIDE THE COMPUTER "REAL TIME INFO" (LIKE THE O2s, THEY DON'T WORK RIGHT UNTIL THEY GET HOT)

YOUR TURN
