When I start my car it takes a lot of jiggling to get it out of park and in when I'm done driving it is hard to put it back into park, it won't catch and I have to use E brake. Automatic trans.

I can think of two possibilities, one is the shift interlock, the other is the shift linkage. If you get under the vehicle and take the shift linkage loose from tranny, can you shift the tranny by hand, into park, using the shift lever on the side of the tranny. There are safety issues with that, safety is your responsibility. Level ground-- wheels blocked-- functional parking brake is set. Yes, you will have to safely raise and support the vehicle.

You've blown off the vacuum hose. Look under the hood and put it back on.
