1995 Buick LeSabre. Cold whether has taken its toll on my battery. This morning I replaced it in the parking lot at work. Afterwards, my car started right up, but died about one second later. I added a can of red iso heat to eliminate any possible moisture. But all i can get is that one second of engine fire. Like its not getting gas. How long does the iso heat take to fully work, and if moisture is not the problem, what do you suggest is? It has been -10 over night in iowa for the last few weeks, and the battery has been laboring for about ten days before swapping it out this morning.

I suspect your security light is flashing also.

It's likely that your PCM has lost the Passlock code and you will have to perform the relearn procedure.
PASSLOCK 10 MINUTE RELEARN

AUTO LEARN
Time required, approximately 10 minutes:

1. Insure that the battery is fully charged.
2. Use the scan tool in order to clear the DTCs.
3. Turn the ignition switch from the OFF position to the CRANK position attempting to start the vehicle. The vehicle will start and then stall.
4. Leave the ignition switch in the ON position while observing the security indicator.
5. When the security indicator turns off, which can take up to 10 minutes, turn the ignition switch off. Wait 10 seconds.
6. The BCM and the PCM will learn the new code on the next start attempt.
