1994 Oldsmobile Cutlass Accelerator

When I'm driving, and I put my foot on the gas pedal, it seems like the car is going shut off, but then, it jerks and accelerate. When I'm driving it seems like it's going to just stop. I can still get it up to 65 miles. This problem just started three days ago, and it seems to be getting worse. Cutlass ciera. Thank you, for your help.

It could be several things. Start with checking fuel pump pressure to make sure it is within spec. Also, if the check engine light is on, have the computer scanned to identify where the problem is coming from. Most parts stores will scan it for free.
