Cant figure it out

I have a 1994 infinity J-30 and I have 2 problems the first is that the dash light for the speed/tach will not come on at all and the speedometer will not work but the tach will. I checked all the fuses under the hood and under the steering wheel all are fine. I have no idea what it is could you help me out. Thank you for your time.

Have you checked wiring to the rear of the cluster? Also, as far as the speedo, it could be the same problem, wiring. However, the speedo is actuated by a vehicle speed sensor. That could be bad. Is the trans still shifting properly?

One last thought. The power to the inst cluster lights comes from the headlight switch. You may want to check that too.
