'94 Geo Tracker seems to be flooding out. Dies at low RPM accel, especially while taking off, then won't start, unless MAP sensor vac. line is unplugged. Then will start, w/ accel. floored & gradually run up & emit black smoke & achieve high revs. If taking off, slipping clutch & maintaining min. 2500, will go. 5-SPD, No air.

Check and replace the MAP sensor if bad. That can cause a rich mixture. Also, if the check engine light is on, have the computer scanned. Most parts stores will do it for free. Finally, check to see if the fuel pressure regulator is working and not allowing too much fuel pressure to build in the rail.
