power steering hose leek

my power steering hose is leeking fluid underneath vehicle and mechanic says in order to fix it it will cost $375.00 because $125.00 is high presure hose and they have to take dashboard apart and will take all day to fix this problem. I thought it is little to pricie but I might be wrong, what do you sugest.

Never heard of removing the dash to replace high pressure hose. Make sure it is the hose and not the sector shaft seal on the bottom of the steering box, that's much more commom. High pressure hose goes from the pump to the inlet port of the box
