Have to pull out speedometer fuse to shut off dome lights. Checked door switches both working properly.

How do you know they are working if the lights dont go out?

Is the switch turned off on the headlight switch?

I removed switches and probed them with power probe to see if switch cuts on and off while pressing and releasing switch

There will always be power. It is the ground that is toggled by the switch.

Is there anything other then door switch that shuts off the lights like the timer when you close door or put key on. If so what is it called and where is it located?
