1994 Dodge Intrepid check engine light

My check engine light comes on after about 4 miles and stays on. Do you know what would cause this?

Many things could cause it. What you need to do is have the computer scanned to determine what has caused it to turn on. Most parts stores will scan it for free, so take it to one and have that done. They will identify a trouble code. From that code, you will be able to determine what turned the light on. Let me know if you have questions.
