Hi my truck tends to shake when it reaches its normal temp. Only at idle or to a stop. When its cold its okay. And at times when im running on the road its like something is holding it back. When I accelerate to the floor it doesent do anything but move up slowly. Its holding back.

Sounds like the timing is off, have you had any recent work done on it?

Seems the idling speed is too low. When cold the fast idle would be in operations and the idling speed would be higher so you won't feel the vibrations. Check the idling speed and adjust it if necessary.

The hesitation could be due to ignition timing being too retarded or minor misfiring due to spark plugs or wires.

Since it was overhauled I would check the timing chain, I had the same problem in a 96 honda civic, it may just be off a tooth or two
