The service engine light soon came on and the car drives really funny n brings a noise

So you really have a SL1 and its not a 1993 it has to be atleast a 1996 and up with that body style.I need you to go to a auto parts store and have it scanned for codes.Let me know the exact code numbers you have not code descriptions? Also how does it drive? What noise are you hearing and from where?
