Manual transmission drove to store ran fine came out went to shift in to reverse and and its stuck in 3rd or 4th gear and wont disengage and checkd to clutch cable and it seems to be workin fine

Turn engine off and try to disengage the gears by wiggling the gear shift with clutch depressed.
3rd and 4th gear are in different position of the gear shift so which is the one it is stuck in?
