1993 Chrysler Sundance power steering squeaking when turning

I have a question regarding my 1993 plymonth sundance when I start turning it becomes difficult to turn the wheel and makes a loud squeaking noise and also a separate sound when I start it a loud screeching then stops and occasionally happens while driving.

You know we need a lot more information or details about noises we can't hear, but in general, a squealing noise accompanied by loss of power steering assist can be attributed to a slipping serpentine belt. Check it for proper tension, and look at the ribbed side to see how many cracks there are across it. One crack per inch is considered acceptable.
