Rough running engine

1992 Toyota corolla running rich and no power spitting and sputtering until high rpms then cleans up pulled pcv valve filthy changed it while vaccum line was pulled seemed to run a little better changed plugs checked cap and rotor and wires. Stumped

Probable causes of an engine running rich are as follows:

1. Excessive fuel pressure can be cause by restricted fuel return line
2. Defective Oxygen Sensors.
3. Leaking injectors and fuel pressure regulator.
4. Coolant temperature sensor out of calibration.
5. Restricted air intake system.

Hi mate, I've been through all this myself at considerable expense eliminating all the above mentioned causes. In the end, by fluke I discovered that the problem was the fuel sender plug which is located under the back seat. Go figure.
