Is the power window regulator for 1992 Firebird convertible the same as for the hardtop

My 1992 firebird convertible needs a window regulator replaced. The dealership says the one for the convertible is different thant the one for the hardtop. I'm looking for one online because the dealership wants $300 just for the part. The one's online say they fit ALL 1992 firebirds. I don't want to buy the wrong one.

What is your vin? Which firebird, several are listed? What is engine litre size? The window regulator I looked at was over 200, not including tax. The dealership should be able to give you better info than I can? Yes, the non-oem parts can be cheaper. The quality of the part will suffer.

It's a V6 3.1 L, Firebird, Base, Convertible VIN is 1G2FS33T0NL211303. I've been looking on ebay motors so i'm finding OEM parts; they're just used from salvaged vehicles. However, they do have a warranty and are well below the $300 the dealership here wants. I can't afford that much just for the part! Thanks for your help.

I looked at acdelco, didn't differentiate between hardtop and convertible. Vin T

I can't tell you from experience if the regulators are the same or not?
