1992 Isuzu Rodeo what it should cost for head cover gaskets

, I needed to know what it should cost (I am in NC) to have the valve cover gaskets replaced. They charged my "English as a second language- Japanese Wife" $252.48 to replace both sides. So the bombs seemed to be dropping on me from North Carolina. Is the price fair and if not. What should I do. Thank you for your time. HM2 (FMF) Chris Hansen, US Navy Corpsman

The valve cover gaskets will cost about 30-40 bucks for the pair and the job will last about 1 hour to an hour and half minutes. I would say for the whole job it would be no more then 200 bucks.
