92 Seville won't change out of 1st gear, what could be the problem?

When im driving it it wont change out of 1st gear

The tps sensor on the throttle body controls the shifting and if it malfunctions, it will not shift. If it is not that, then most likely you have an internal failure in the trans.

The body is around 545. The labor is about 1 hour.

I doubt it. Take to a trans shop just to be sure. They can test them externally to verify.

Found out I need the transmission rebuilt. Gonna cost me $2500. So thanks for yor help guys getting it repaired as I send this message.
