Hi last weekend I went 4wheel driving on the beach but after about ten minutes of driving I had to let my tyres down when I did this I noticed heat coming off the hubs( hubs are Manuel locking) I touched them and both sides where burning hot I was in 4wd high up until that point then I went into low. Can you help me cause I have no idea at why its doing this.

When was the last time the wheel bearings were cleaned and greased. If recently then they may have galling or etching on them and eed replacing. If you did a lot of braking hten the hubs will be hot anyhow.

I dont know when they were last greased or cleaned, I only just purchased the car a couple of months ago but I will check and get back to you and I only did a small amount of braking. (By the way my triton is v6 if that affects it in anyway.

Actually no as I had to look off of a truck item as we dont' have tritions here in u.S. But if you are having that problem then i'say it's lack of grase or a bearing bad.
