1991 Chevrolet Corsica engine problems

Car starts and idles. Begins to miss as fuel is applied. Will jerk going down the highway until you let off the gas. Hesitates a bit as fuel is applied if you give a lot of gas will go fine no noticable jerking. Check engine light may or may not come on. Will begin to run rough if you are waiting in traffic

How long since overall tune-up? Check for applicable trouble codes. You should be able to check mil codes, yourself. Use a jumper wire between the A & B terminals at the datalink connector. Turn key just till dash lites come on, no further. The mil on the dash starts flashing, you count the flashes to get the codes. Your looking for two digit codes.

You can also check your throttle position sensor.
