Clean throttle plate on both sides and iac hole with choke cleaner then check for a vacuum leak like a small hose off /cracked or broken

Ive cleaned it with spray cleaner and it made it more frequent then I used the fuel injector cleaner mixed into my gas tank then I didn't have a problem for two days then yesterday it acted up again. I was wondering if it could be a mass air flow sensor? There is no holes in the hoses

Kinda sounds like a vacuum leak to mebecause when it goes to closed loop it doesn't do it. Spray around tbi unit as I think that is what you have and see if idle changes if it does then the gasket is blown otherwise you'll have to scan for codes and check hose leading to map sensor I forget on those it's been so damn long if you even have one if it 's soft andsucking together ifit is replace it.

Scan for codes first. It may not be a map sensor.
