Running rich and rough idle what could be the cause

I HAVE A 91 MODEL CAMARO I SWAPPED THE BLOCK ON IT HAD 305 NOW A 350 IT IS A TPI SETUP THE ISSUE IM HAVING IS A ROUGH IDLE IT SHAKES ALOT AND IT SMELLS ALOT LIKE GAS IN OTHER WORDS RUNNING RICH CAN ANYONE HELP?

Could be vacuum leaks. You need a scan tool to monitor reading to find out what the sensors are seeing. Did you change everything back to your origianl motor? Only hte long block should be from the donor motor

What scan tool do I need and where could I get it and everything was put back the only thing different is new wather pump new plugs I used the same wires beacuse I did have that much with them before I did the swap that I had the smog pump removed I had a guy that got it timmed to as best as possible the timming is off by a little bit should I change the distributor and also if I did the engine swap do I have to
program the computer

Did you use the 305 heads on a 350? If so, why? The 350 heads work so much better than the 305.

The scan tool is a professional one from a shop and costs about 2500. It would be cheaper to have them run the info for you and print out the results.

And like if I wanna search a place that has that tool in my area or do I jus have to call random places?

Call random places as you have an obd1 system and not evryone has the scanner for this.
