1990 Pontiac Bonneville mileage: 113,000. Starting problem when ambient temperature is below 0 degrees C. Error code 43 (ESC). This module replaced. Okay for couple of days. Then again, code 43 (ESC). What should be done next?

Code 43 is knock sensor, replacing it should fix your problem.
