What should the compression reading be per cylinder on a 90 t.R.

Did you ever find out? I'd say a minimum of about 150-160psi but cylinder variance is more important. Its based on compression ration, a '90 shouldn't be to high though. Its not likely all the cylinders are bad, if any, so the highest is probably very accurate, they should be within about 10-15 psi of each other.
