1990 Dodge Dakota doesn't want to accelerate, you step on the gas and it boggs down then something kicks in and it goes like a bat out of hell, as soon as you let off the accelerator and re-apply it chokes out again. Dangerous on the highway, runs like it wants to cut out, also wants to surge then almost dies or does die at a stop. Then some times it runs great, but mostly this problem. I've changed the fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel pump pressure regulator, oxygen sensor, checked the MAP sensor. What next should I change the EGR valve? I've run fuel injector cleaner could it still be a clogged injector? Or does this sound like an engine control computer module? Also changed the pick-up in dist. I'm running out of parts to change. Rasmataz, I replaced both of these parts, and it's running different but not better! As a Dodge expert what would you check next?
