I had 2 front tires changed and the store disconnected the battery. When I started it up the idle was extremely high. I reset the computer per the manual. Now the engine is running off of 6 or 7 cylinders. What can I do.

You need to determine which cylinders are missing and why and that may not be real simple as it's a very primitive computer system. A tech will have to use manual techniques to try to isolate the cylinder and then examine the plugs and wires to try to find the reason. It had nothing to do with disconnecting the battery.
