oil level is fine. How do I check if the sensor is the issue or if the pressure is actually low?

Hello,
First of all you should get the oil pressure tested. You can usually get the tester from your local auto parts store. If the pressure is good then the issue is with the sensor. The oil pressure should be 45 PSI at 2,000 RPMs.
