has an o2 sensor code changed it out and it still codes. what should i check next

Diagnostic fault codes never say to replace parts or that they're bad. They only indicate the circuit or system that needs further diagnosis, or the unacceptable condition. There are multiple codes for an oxygen sensor and they mean very different things. The first thing you must do is list the exact fault code you're getting.
