I purchased the blazer back on 06 and the tail gate never would open but I was ok with this because the window would roll down. Last summer we had to rev the engine while rolling the window up or down and sometimes even have to nudge it either way by hand. But it still worked lol. Now when we try to roll it down nothing happens what so ever! Yes I may sound goofy but I'm dying to take my top off! With the window motor going out I'm assuming I cant remove the top or else the window could possibly get broken! Or if we are able to get the top off how do I get the window to go down is there some kind of manual override since it is all electric? Please help if you can my sexy beast loves the summer weather! Thanks!

There is no override on this setup probably the motor is frozen or the cutout switch may not be working. Your cable may have broken as well. If the motor is bolted in you could remove it and push window down not sure if it would stay however.
