1987 Ford F-150 Engine

My truck will run great then it will quit running then long as the key is turned on it will not fire trying to crank it. Turn they key switch off then try to crank it will restart then run a few miles further it will do the same these are some of the things I done to it new coil, pick up coil in distributer, plugs, rotor button, distributer cap, modular on distributer, ignition modular on steering column, one fuel pump in tank fuel pressure regulator, fuel pressure is a bout 35-40 p, when idling, fuel filter.

Check ignition switch it may be faulty

Then check your fusible links at relay they are easy to spot one may be burnt or only hanging on by a couple of wires. They are on batter side of relay. A test light on check them put test light on where they end and twirl wire around if light goes out replace it auto parts have them.
