Unable to get 5th gear

My fixer man said the relay to get 5th gear is burnt out he tells me a new one is very expensive and he cant find a second hand one have you any idear where I should try I live in far west new south wales australia.

I meant to say I found places on internet selling relay for $50. Do a search for volvo relay.
