Car will not reverse just changed the whole steering column. What could it be? Ive already checked and filled the transmission fluid.

Could be an internal failure.

Have a trans shop check it to verify

All other gears work fine. Jus no reverse at first it hesitated and would reverse very slowly and now nothing. Is there anything I can Check before taking it to a Shop?
