Tranny problems

1985 prelude 2.0 si slips reverse and 2nd gear when driving w/in operating temperature, but works fine when car still cold. Any suggestions? Car also "shakes" when accelerating from standstill

Maybe a bad torque converter'

Low fluid level and/or a failing transmission are likely possibilities.

You need a gearbox or a repairment of the gearbox. Probably would be the trasmision disks.
