The steering in my car is horrilble. Was wandering if there is any kind of aftermarket rack and pinion I could buy to swap it out.

Wow! This is my all time favorite car. First, the vehicle doesn't have a rack and pinion. It has a steering gear. Tell me what is happening. Is there too much play in the steering? Also, if you are tired of the car, you can drop it at my place. Lol

No, there isn't a rack and pinion. I assume all steering components are good and where the steering shaft attaches to the steering gear is good. If that is the case, the gear needs replaced. I have tried to adjust them, but it never works.
