I was driving my truck and it was bogging down a bit then it died while it was sitting in the parking lot so I tried starting it back up and it wouldn't start it would try to turn over and run real rough for a second so it seemed to me to be a fuel pump so I replaced it and its still doing the same thing I had my carb rebuilt a couple moths ago so I'm just running out of ideas now.

Get an inexpensive spark tester(, you can get one at any local auto parts store) and install it between the spark pug wire and the plug and have someone crank the truck for you while you watch the tester to see if it lights up. Some thing is missing, either fuel or spark. Try to dump a couple drops of gas in the carb and see if it starts. Let us know how it goes.
