I just rebuilt my motor 1970Buick 350, I was wondering about break in. There is no water in engine, should I run it with out thermostat. How would I get antifreeze in block

I'm confused. You say this in no water in the engine, but are asking how you have antifreeze in the block? That contradicts itself a bit. Care to clarify?

Remove the thermostat and fill the radiator. It will fill the block up to the level of the thermostat.

There is no break in with the new piston ring styles.
