1961 Mercury Comet trunk pan and attachments

1961 Mercury Comet-Where can I find a trunk pan and parts to attach the unibody onto the left rear spring. Currently, the trunk pan is rusted so that the car rests on the left rear spring.I really want to keep the car. Everything else is in good shape. Is there any alternative method of repair_using a heavy metal plate and haveing a machinist make the attachment parts? Thank You for your answer.

I went on the internet and just typed in mercury comet parts and came up with several places. You'll just have to look. I did see body parts for 63-65 and I 'dont know how far off a 61 is from 63. But you might also check into ford falcon for that year as they were the same car just badged differently.
