Same way for both axles.

1. Loosen tire, jack vehicle, remove tire.
2. Remove tie rod end nut. 19mm if I remember right.
3. Remove ball joint cotter pin. Loosen but do not remove ball joint crown nut. 22mm wrench. Use ball joint fork to loosen the ball joint from steering knuckle. Once loosen, remove the nut.
4. Remove cotter pin from axle nut. Remove axle nut. If you don't have impact gun, have someone sit on the driver side and apply the brake while you loosen the nut. OEM nut is 32mm, some aftermarket parts use 34mm.
5. Remove the axle from steering knuckle. You may have to jiggle it out.
6. Use a pry bar to pry the axle out of the transaxle. Get a drain pan ready, cause you will leak some trans fluid.

Installation is reversed.
